Outreach

A Small Church with a Big Heart

Holy Trinity has a rich history of serving the community in a number of ways, with ongoing projects as well as one-time donations. The Outreach Ministry encourages parishioners to share their faith through action by providing meaningful ways to serve those in need.

We promote an intentional, daily living out of our Christian identity, motivating our parish to give of their time, talent and resources in ways that benefit the more vulnerable in our community.

Easter Baskets

Each Easter the Outreach Ministry creates colorful Easter Baskets for the children of migrant farmworkers at the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry in Newton Grove. The parish participates by providing the chocolate bunnies, Peeps, books, stuffed animals, and small toys that are sure to put a smile on a child’s face.

Angel Tree

The Outreach Ministry sponsors an Angel Tree each Christmas to help local families in need have a bright and happy holiday. Parish members can show a child the light of God’s love by taking a tag from the Angel Tree and purchasing a gift for that child to open on Christmas morning.

Holiday Basket

Outreach distributes boxes containing turkeys and traditional side dishes to local families in need, ensuring they have enough food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The parish can support this initiative by donating nonperishable items. Monetary donations are also welcome to help purchase fresh produce and other essential items. By participating, individuals can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who might otherwise go without during the holiday seasons.
